Well, I know I messed up a couple of things, hopefully not too much more:

    1. The span of Den's music is more like 25 years not 30, that is, in the first block anyway

    2. Heartbreaker is not the only Javeln original.... we did "Fly" too! ... duhhhh.

Any other needed clarifications are welcome.

looks like a great track list...

Seems Peter is suggesting Blogger. Oldin had suggested that also. What does Tom know about it?
Can we run it within our site? Can Tom set it up, even install it for us? Seems between Peter and Tom we'd have some support for this.

I did begin to communicate with Peter and I"m about to ask him how to install wordpress on the server but he doesn't know anything about wordpress. IPADM does however.

    What to do?

PS: leaving tommorow to see lemmie for a day then off the Bahamas for a week.

By "Tom", do you mean me? If so, I know it can be done because I've seen it done, but I wouldn't know how to do it. I never mess with this stuff. Frankly, I hardly touch the computer when I'm not at work.

I do know that this one blog I read, Jason Heath's Double Bass Blog used to be on blogger but he moved it to wordpress because of difficulties he had with blogger. But that might be because he was trying to move an existing blog to a new domain and didn't want to screw up people's links.

The set list looks great, btw.

what a fun listen...and what a variety of music...nice job on the cast, jba...thanks for you efforts over the last four years or so...

Great cast J. Lots of good stuff to listen to.

It should be noted that I did not play on the song featured by Billy Two Shoes. I only played on the second CD - New Shoes.

Lots of tunage! And here we go...

btw - 2 big blues and a jack tonight JBA! 30 minutes in the exploding schools off the surf tonight. The blues are in the panko as I type. mmmmm....

Isn't is a cheap way to hold the attention of your audience by bringing your pot plants on stage as props? Just wondering.

so that's how you did it...

Glad you guys liked the cast. Back in action now but jealous of Mel's surf fishing adventures.

Sorry for messing that up Tom, I forgot you didn't record on that first BTS CD.

nahhhhhhhh........ just waiting for Den's final thrust!.... don't go there!

So what might be the objections to keeping this blog up until we figure out another method?

I intend to work on either wordpress or blogger in the next couple of weeks but I'm not sure what the results will be.

posted by: JBA on Sat, 10/3 04:13 PM EDT

speaking of "den's final thrust", when might we expect the penetration of episode 200?

posted by: matt on Sat, 10/3 08:04 PM EDT

I'll let you know no later than Tuesday when the big finale is. Actually, it all depends on IPADM.

As far as the future of the blog, our subscription is canceled as of Nov. 1st, and the blog remains active for another 30 days or so. That was the case when I signed up. They've since removed any canceling info from the web site, so who really knows? Libsyn likes to live in mystery and keep people constantly guessing.

    oh well.

Episode #200 is recorded and will be posted Wednesday evening.

Just to set everyones expectations...there will be a couple of surprises, but this is a fairly low key podcast. I really feel like #199 is the big send-off and #200 is just pulling the last plug.

Did someone say whimper? Sorry folks, had some major upheavals going on here but all good.

I hope to be a little more active, wherever we end up. Let me know what help you need.

Found some stuff from the Talking Heads I never heard before. Seems they might be out-takes from the 77 album. They're pretty damm 77ish and cool: "Sugar On My Tongue", "I Wish You Wouldn't Say That", and "I Feel It In My Heart". I guess they might be on the CD (bonus trax) but I've only ever had the vinyl. You can check it out at my new hangout.... grooveshark. Follow the link on my name jacky.

Oh yeh, search for talking heads, then goto albums then 77, you'll see it.
